Extended Leave and Leave POlicies

The first step towards preparing for your leave is to submit an Extended Absence  Request in OneUSG Connect at least one month prior to the estimated start date of your extended absence. If you are unsure of which type of leave to select, please submit a ticket to hrweb@uga.edu for assistance.

Leave eligibility: Employees who work at least 50% time in one or more "regular" positions are eligible for leave benefits, pro-rated based on full-time equivilancy (FTE). Exceptions include family and medical leave (FMLA) or paid parental leave. Refer to the links above for eligibility requirements for each leave type.
