YOUR FIRST 30 DAYS  

 

 

 


YOUR FIRST WEEK

Ensure completion of your UGA Onboarding Packet  and the Federal Form I-9 within 3 business days from your start date. Completion of this information is required for employment.

 

Work with your department to ensure your UGA MyID and UGA email account are set up. The UGA MyID is the sign-on name that students, faculty, and staff use to access a wide range of online services at UGA.

Work with your department to ensure you are properly set up in the OneUSG Connect system prior to requesting a UGA OneCard. Obtain your UGA OneCard, if applicable. Check with your department before attempting to get your UGA OneCard, as some departments request this on behalf of their employees.

 

  • Prepare questions for your supervisor (proper attire/dress code, expectations, how to request time off, etc.)
  • Key issuance / Building access

 


ONEUSG CONNECT EMPLOYEE SELF SERVICE  
ACTION ITEMS AFTER HIRE DATE

  • Update personal and payroll information 
  • For those employees who are not US citizens / US Permanent Residents (including F1, J1, H1 and other visa types), you will complete these forms via GLACIER (PDF).
  • Update voluntary* demographic data.
  • Review time & absence submission process based on your work schedule and employment type. Submit time worked based on your time entry method.
  • Double check all of your personal details for accuracy (legal name, home address, phone, email, etc.)
