Advertising Discounts for Job Postings

The University has negotiated an agreement with the following publication:

Chronicle of Higher Education

UGA Human Resources has renewed an unlimited online Basic Job Posting package for another year, effective January 1, 2024 until December 31, 2024. This discount applies only to single online Basic Job Postings. Ads run  for 60 days. The discount does not apply to Job Posting Plus, High Visibility, Premium Exposure, multi-ad packs or print ads.

Faculty Positions
Faculty postings through UGAJobs will be automatically scraped and posted on the Chronicle of Higher Education.

Staff Positions
If you would like a staff posting from UGAJobs to be posted on the Chronicle of Higher Education, you must be logged into your Chronicle Hire For Employers account to post your position vacancy online for free.  You can access the Chronicle Hire For Employers account page here. (Please note that on June 27, 2022 the Chronicle of Higher Education launched an updated jobs platform with new and expanded features. Digital and Print products will now be accessed through two separate websites.  Existing login credentials will allow access to both accounts. All historical data will be hosted through hire.print.chronicle.com)

If any existing users run into any issues with the new jobs platform, please email Matthew Reiter at mreiter@uga.edu and he will work with the consultants at the Chronicle to make sure you get added to our unlimited package.

 

 
 

 

First time posting?
If this is your first time placing an ad online with the Chronicle, please create an account using your @uga.edu email address. You will also need to enter your first name, last name and create a password.  Passwords should be:

  • At least 8 characters in length
  • Contain lowercase letters
  • Contain uppercase letters and
  • Contain numbers

 

You should receive an email from circulation@app.chronicle.com asking to confirm your email address.

After logging back in and confirming your account is now active, you should see a screen listing "Company Information" - Please do not fill in this information. Here is a screenshot of the page where you should stop and sign out.

At this point, please stop and email Matthew Reiter at mreiter@uga.edu that you have created an account and he will pass along your email address to the consultants at the Chronicle to have you added to our unlimited package. Please allow 24-48 business hours for this step.
