RE:New Total Rewards Statements coming in late September

 

At the University of Georgia, our greatest resource is our people. The investments we make in faculty and staff salaries are by far our most significant. In September, the University System of Georgia (USG) will mail “Total Rewards Statements” to all USG benefits-eligible team members.

What are Total Rewards Statements?

These statements will help to demonstrate the total value of the benefits package that the USG provides to benefits-eligible employees by:

  • Helping our faculty and staff see the total value of their compensation and benefits package.
  • Highlighting retirement contributions, which are usually higher than the private sector.
  • Promoting other work-life benefits such as paid time off, well-being, and other programs.

These personalized statements will detail employee compensation, healthcare and voluntary insurance benefits, employer contributions, and other work-life benefits.

How and when can our team members view their statements?

UGA faculty and staff will be able to view their Total Rewards Statements in OneUSG Connect in mid-September. Paper statements will be mailed to home addresses in late September.

Available to all benefits-eligible faculty and staff: Well-being Session on September 6

Please encourage faculty and staff in your units to attend the USG “Well-being Wednesday” session on Wednesday, September 6, at 12:00 noon. This session will be focused on USG Total Rewards. Registration is required, and interested individuals can register here.
