What if I’m asked to download Shockwave when I click on begin course?
Follow the download instructions for Shockwave. You should receive an automatic message that indicates the download is complete. If you still have difficulty, you may contact the EITS Helpdesk (706) 542-3106.
What if I have technical trouble logging in to eLearning Commons?
First, log out and try using a different Internet browser. If that doesn't work, you
may need to contact your departmental IT professional for assistance or contact the
EITS Helpdesk (706) 542-3106.
As a new employee, what if I log into eLearning Commons and do not see the Ethics BASIC or SecureUGA course?
FYI, all new employees must be added to eLC in order to see the USG Ethics "Basic" course and SecureUGA course. Use the departmental ethics training liason list to find your liaison. The liaison can add your name to the course list so you can access the Basic course. If you cannot locate your liaison, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 706-542-4501.
If you have just received your new MyID, it may take up to 48 hours before you are able to see the Ethics Basic and SecureUGA courses in eLC.
As a new employee, what is my deadline to complete the course?
All newly-hired employees should complete the USG Ethics Basic and SecureUGA courses within 60 days of hire.
If I start the training and need to leave the courses before I finish, what should I do?
You may log out of eLearning Commons and resume at a later date. You may review your
assessments and retake at any time.
