SUMMARY

 

This position is responsible for: business development for Terry College's non-degree executive education programs; recruiting participants for open enrollment programs; developing relationships with human resources (HR) professionals, association representatives, and other individuals and organizations that can support the growth of executive programs; recruiting sponsors for individual executive programs. There may be some travel associated with this position as well as frequent evening and weekend work. 

 

 



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

 Meet with HR/OD/Training directors at Fortune 1000 companies to assist with talent development strategies with the goal to secure multiple employee registrations to the College's open enrollment programs in the areas of business acumen, business analysis, certified financial planning, project management, and leadership.

Play the key role in ensuring that the TEEC Operations Team has all of the information they need to effectively manage program logistics that lead to a superior customer experience when the individuals attend our programs.

Play the key role in ensuring that the staff marketing professional has all of the information he or she needs to effectively implement marketing strategies that generate high-quality leads; and then following up on the leads.

Play the key role in out-bound telephone calls that generate high-quality sales appointments or convinces an individual who has inquired about our certification programs (CFP, Business Analysis, Project Management) to register for the program.

Meet with companies and individuals that can benefit from sponsoring one or more of the College's business acumen workshops with the goal to continually have a corporate sponsor for all one-day workshops offered at the TEEC.

Assist the Director of Strategic Partnerships in developing and using a process that effectively delegates sales support activities to program coordinators and operations staff.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

 

Bachelor's degree with 8-10 years of related experience.

 

 

 



NOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

 

Proficiency with Microsoft Office to generate reports, proposals, and spreadsheets.
