SUMMARY
A person in this position is responsible for personnel
management, review and resolution of problems. This would include wage
and salary issues, classification issues, employment discipline and grievance
matters. This employee is also responsiblie for the review and resolution
of any problems relating to departmental leases, contracts, plant fund
requirements, expense control, budgetary decisions and planning, budget
development and updates, and operating business decisions and management. Each Assistant Director manages multiple departments, overseeing unit heads and supervision of front line personnel, as well as ensuring compliance with University policies and procedures and local, state, federal, and Regent's law's and regulations. |
Completion of a Bachelor's degree plus ten (10) years of management experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
