SUMMARY This is technical administrative work in the collection, maintenance, and distribution of administrative data used to produce reports which require analysis and comparisons. An individual allocated to this class of work is responsible
for the collection, editing, processing, and distribution of data required
for one or more information systems. |
DUTIES
AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinates the collection, editing, processing, and distribution of data required for one or more University information systems/databases. Consults with academic departments in regard to the implementation of proper data collection methods and procedures and in providing needed information reports to them. Assists in the implementation of computerized data base files and information systems within the University administration. Performs other related work as required. |
EDUCATION
AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma
or equivalent with at least two years of related experience. |
KNOWLEDGE,
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with faculty, staff, fellow employees, and the general public. Knowledge of computerized information systems including the operation and maintenance of data base files. Knowledge of computer hardware. Knowledge of general University programs, policies, procedures, and administrative practices. Ability to work under the pressure of deadlines as well as to work with
confidential information. |
