The University of Georgia Benefits and Well-being team is proud to introduce the inaugural UGA Well-Being Fair, a dynamic event designed to support faculty and staff in every dimension of well-being. This interactive experience goes beyond a traditional resource expo. It’s an opportunity to explore practical tools, connect with campus and community partners, and invest in your overall well-being all in one place.

The Well-Being Fair offers meaningful opportunities to:

  • Attend 15‑minute mini‑sessions focused on Your Health, Your Mind, Your Finances, and Our Community, and learn quick, practical insights to support your overall well‑being.

  • Watch live cooking demonstrations for dishes that help prevent chronic illnesses
  • Discover simple, practical strategies to support your everyday well-being
  • Connect with colleagues and campus and community partners
  • Give back to our community by participating in a blood drive or donating to the UGA Student Pantry

Stop by anytime between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. and experience an engaging, inspiring environment designed with every part of you in mind. We look forward to celebrating well-being together as a UGA community.

Do I need to register to attend?

The Well-Being Fair is a drop-in event, and no general registration is required to attend. Faculty and staff are welcome to stop by anytime between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. 

 

Some screenings or activities may have limited capacity and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Any activities requiring advance registration will be communicated in advance. 

Is there a cost to attend?

No. The Well-Being Fair is free for all UGA faculty and staff. 

Can I attend during my workday?

Yes. Faculty and staff are encouraged to speak with their supervisors about attending. Supervisors are encouraged to support participation when operationally feasible, as the event aligns with UGA’s commitment to employee well-being. 

Do I need to stay for the entire event?

Not at all. The event is designed as a flexible, drop-in experience where you’ll find valuable resources and activities. 

What health screenings will be available?

Screenings will include blood pressure, blood glucose, bone density, HepC, and A1C.  Availability may vary throughout the event based on demand. To register for biometric screenings, please click here.

Will appointments be required for screenings?

Pre-registration is required for biometric screenings and blood donations. Appointments are first-come, first-served and space is limited. Click here for more information on biometric screenings.

Is the blood drive open to faculty and staff?

Yes. Faculty and staff are encouraged to participate in the blood drive as part of supporting our broader community. Click here if you’re interested in donating blood.

What are the mini information sessions?

Mini– sessions will be held approximately every 15 minutes throughout the event and will cover a variety of well-being topics aligned with the four well-being pillars: Your Mind, Your Health, Your Finances, and Our Community. Click here for the mini-session schedule.

How can I support the UGA Student Pantry?

Donation opportunities will be available onsite to support the UGA Student Pantry. More information about suggested donation items can be found on the UGA Food Pantry’s website.

How should I get to the Tate Center Grand Hall?

Faculty and staff are encouraged to use Campus Transit to travel to and from the event to avoid potential parking limitations.
